Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers
The American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers course is an advanced level of CPR Training for individuals who have a job-related ’duty to respond’ to emergencies. Participants learn how to recognize and provide care in respiratory and cardiac emergencies for adults, children, and infants, with special emphasis on two-rescuer CPR, use of a BVM (bag valve mask) and an AED. Participants will be issued a course certification card, valid for 2 years, upon successful completion. An online training option is available for this class through the link below.

Heartsaver First Aid
The American Heart Association First Aid course provides basic first aid and safety skills. This class equips individuals to recognize and provide first aid care for injuries and sudden illnesses. Participants will learn how to identify and care for a variety of medical emergencies including severe bleeding, shock, musculoskeletal injuries

Heartsaver Pediatric CPR, AED, & First Aid
The American Heart Association Heartsaver Pediatric CPR, AED & First Aid combo course prepares individuals to perform CPR, use an AED as well as provide care for for choking emergencies on victims of all ages, with an emphasis on infants and children.
In addition, you will learn how to identify and care for a variety of medical emergencies. Included are severe bleeding, shock, asthma, allergic reactions (including the use of an epi pen), musculoskeletal injuries, seizures, other sudden illnesses, etc.
This course is designed to meet the regulatory requirements for child care workers. It teaches child care providers and others to respond to illnesses and and injuries in a child or infant in the first few minutes until professional help arrives.
Participants will be issued a course certification card, valid for 2 years, upon successful completion.

Family & Friends
The American Heart Association Family & Friends CPR course is a basic course intended for individuals who want to learn CPR, but do not need a a course completion card. This course covers CPR, use of an AED (automated external defibrillator) and choking relief for adults, children and infants.
